Black Necked Crane Festival – November 11, 2016

This Black Necked Crane festival is a testimony of Bhutan’s love for the environment and it was introduced to celebrate the migratory endangered Black Necked Crane. The bird flies over the Himalayas from Tibet in winter to few places in Bhutan with Phobjikha in western Bhutan being a popular destination.

The festival is held in Phobjikha and it is a wonderful opportunity to visit the beautiful valley of Phobjikha. You can also experience several different Bhutanese traditions and culture during the festival.

We can make this experience special by value adding it to fit your expectations and preferences.
